Vuze 5.4.0.1 Beta 4 Bittorrent Client available for Testing along with New Features


Vuze Bittorrent client developers officially announces the release of Vuze 5.4.0.1 Beta 4 client with new features and minor fixes. All the geeks love to download torrents from internet and they all know which application is suitable for download torrents from internet. Like other Bittorrent client, Vuze is a famous Bittorrent client which is used to transfer files via Bittorrent protocol.

According to official announcement, Vuze Bittorrent 5.4.0.1 Beta 4 client comes with support for new features to Speed Limit Scheduler along with added Network selection to go along with IP ranges and country code -use 'Public', 'I2P' or 'Tor' as required. It also includes tag restriction support to Peer Sets which earlier supported by categories only.

Vuze 5.4.0.1 Beta 4 also updates rates limiting support for Peer Sets which is included "Disabled" for upload and download rates. The "IP Sets" are renamed to "Peer Sets" because for a while they have been denoted more than just peers selected by IP. qBittorrent 3.1.10 released with Massive Features & numerous Bugfixes


qBittorrent team officially announces the release of qBittorrent 3.1.10 with major new features along with minor bug fixes. Well this is the last release under 3.1.x series. There are several torrent clients are available for various platforms and qBittorrent is among one of them, which allows you to download you favorite torrent file.

According to official announcement, qBittorrent 3.1.10 comes with addition of "Completed" column, "Ratio Limit" column and addition of "Open" and "Open Containing Folder" entries in the content's right click menu. This release also allows you to disable OS cache which prevents RAM increases on Windows when seeding many files.

The qBittorrent 3.1.10 also includes peer port column to PeerListWidget along with addition of "Shutdown now" button in shutdown confirmation dialog. It shows loaded torrents in the transferlist when qBT is launched with a torrent/magnet and AddNewTorrentDialog is showing. The qBittorrent 3.1.10 for Windows now check for python before creating search engine tab and also prevents from creation of specific python files in user's PC if no python is found. List of Bugfixes Made in qBittorrent 3.1.10

- Fix RSS feed icon. The tmp file gets deleted in the feed destructor.
- AddNewTorrentDialog is shown again and again even if checkbox "dont ask me again" is set.
- Don't show availability bar for magnet links.
- Fix crash when the selected torrent disappears from the transfer list.
- Fix tracker announcing problem(hit-and-run) when many torrents are being active.
- Count magnet links in the 'downloading' filter and make them prevent system inhibition.
- Pick up updated plugins. Closes #1745.
- Bring mainwindow in front when notification is clicked and other windows are in front.
- Speedup torrent moving.
- Fix bug when moving a torrent before the previous move is completed.

Vuze Bittorrent Client 5.4.0 released with New UI and Minor Core Changes


Vuze Bittorrent Client development team officially announces the release of Vuze Bittorrent 5.4 with new changes in user interface, client cores along with enhanced torrent desktop client for users. This is a free update which will automatically install on existing Vuze users and also included in downloaded package for all new users.

According to official announcement, Vuze Bittorrent 5.4 Client comes with support for "force-start' and 'super-seeding' options to create-torrent wizard and also includes support for 'SHA1' column to files view. It includes default save directory to apply when 'best guess' is enabled and nothing matches and added 'initial tags' to create torrent wizard.

Other user interface changes which you would find in Vuze 5.4 client includes addition of 'pause for' option for selected torrents in Library view via Advanced menu, addition of 'availability' button to torrent options to allow a torrent's availability to be checked before addition and addition of 'apply to current' function to tags with initial-save/move-on-complete set.

Apart from these UI changes, Vuze Bittorrent 5.4 client also includes few core changes like addition of simple tag constraint language and addition of 'copy on complete' function to tags. It also includes HTTPS support for web-seeds and canonical peer prioity in BEP 40. The speed limit handler in this release now start/stop downloads which are assigned to particular tags. Bittorrent Client, Deluge 1.3.7 released with New Enhancements & Bug Fixes


Deluge development team officially announces the release of Deluge 1.3.7 with new changes and fixes in core, GtkUI and WebUI modules. This release primarily includes fixing of bugs which were reported since previous 1.3.6 release. Deluge is a famous BitTorrent client like others and available for cross platforms. It uses ​libtorrent in its backend and features multiple user-interfaces including: GTK+, web and console.

According to official announcement, Deluge 1.3.7 comes with fixed right-click selection issue and support for unicode password in WebUI module. This release also fixes issue with plugins which adds Tab to torrentdetails along with fix the scalable icon install directory.

It also adds StartupWMClass to desktop position along with fixed ratio column which not retains position and fix by passing the password dialog while showing or quitting. FrostWire 5.7.7 released with New VPN Connection Indicator & Other Fixes

FrostWire developers officially announces the release of FrostWire 5.7.7 torrent client with several bug fixes and minor new features. Like several torrent client, FrostWire is multi-purpose Bittorrent client which allows its users to download torrent files and also allows them to play audio and video files in FrostWire.

According to official announcement, FrostWire 5.7.7 torrent client comes with new VPN connection status indicator and also stops media playback by long pressing play/pause button. This release also updates MigLayout source code to version 4.0. It also fixes bug where files couldn't be played wih main player button and fixes a bug where speaker icon on library would still show after media player had stopped.

The bug of FrostWire 5.7.5 in which buttons of Create Torrent dialog were not visible unless the window was resized is now fixed in this release. Among other fixes, FrostWire 5.7.7 includes fixed issue on Linux when player window pixel translucency could not be set, fixed Null Pointer Exception when trying to shutdown and hide an MPlayerWindow that may have not been instantiated and fixes issue where user could not create new playlist by dropping songs from existing playlist into 'New Playlist; list item in the library.
