The AT&T carriers officially announces that they might not provide update of Windows Phone 8.1 for HTC 8X smartphone or it might be delayed from its actual schedule. The HTC 8X smartphone already recieved Windows Phone 8.1 update in several other countries but Verizon and AT&T carriers still delaying in providing update of Windows Phone 8.1 for HTC 8X smartphone.

HTC 8X previously received Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update and now its being almost one year as it still haven't receive any major update yet. We are hoping to getting Windows Phone 8.1 update soon but AT&T carriers haven't made any official announcement regarding release Windows Phone 8.1 update for HTC 8X smartphone.

This might be a terrible news for those who owns HTC 8X smartphone because AT&T carriers still in confusion whether to provide Windows Phone 8.1 update to its HTC 8X users or not. According to inside sources, it is almost confirmed that AT&T is not planning to provide Windows Phone 8.1 update to its HTC 8X smartphone users.
