Google officially announces the release of new updates for Google News and Weather App for Android devices with new user interface which looks like upcoming Android L style known as Material Design. As you know that Google News and Weather provides comprehensive and personalized view of headline storie, local news and weather reports.

According to official announcement at Google Play Store, this newly updated Google News and Weather App comes with tablet support along with new resizable homescreen widget. It includes weather and local news for multiple places and also change editions for news in different countries. The developers are still working on crash reports which were noticed on some devices like Xperia.

The main highlighted feature of this updated Google News and Weather App is its new design which has quite similar user interface as of upcoming Android L style which is known as Material Design. You can now sign-in with Google account for Google News personalization and also offers navigate sections via menu or simple swipes.
