Korean based Samsung Smartphones officially announces the release of Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones. Earlier there were lot of rumors about Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Galaxy S4 smartphone, so here it comes with new features. The update is available for download specially for Galaxy S4 smartphone.

According to one of the announcement at SamMobiles, it is officially confirmed that the update of Android 4.4.2 KitKat is available for Galaxy S4 smartphone and can be downloaded via over the air. This update is currently available in Nordic region which includes Sweden and Finland. This update might contain similar new features as other Android KitKat update does.

Some of the major new features that you may notice in Android 4.4.2 KitKat update includes improved performance, redesigned status bar with white icons, enhanced lockscreen with camera shortcut and full-screen album art, wireless printing support, newer versions of Samsung apps and better battery life support.
