Popcorn Time 0.3.6 released with Built in OpenVPN Client & Other Bugfixes

Popcorn Time developers officially announces the release of Popcorn Time 0.3.6 which is a Christmas and New Year gift for its users. This release includes several kinds of bug fixes along with new features. The team on the ocassion of Christmas and New Year holidays released this new version for Desktop as well as Android users. Popcorn Time for Android officially designed as proper Android client with amazing new features.

According to official announcement, Popcorn Time 0.3.6 comes with updated Chromecast module to use a refactored Chromecast-js and also added in a BitTorrent PeerID specific to Popcorn Time. The developers reworked the updater to use our DNS servers so it continues to work even with issues. It also fixes the Chromecast reconnection issue when stopping and starting a new session.

The main highlight features of this release includes addition of option to disable updates and addition of built in OpenVPN client whereas Torrent Health now automatically updates. Among several bug fixes, Popcorn Time 0.3.6 includes fixed bug where streams played on wrong device when you have multiple AirPlay devices, temporarily fixed IP address in Media URL for external devices and fixed problems in Watchtrailer, should fix issue PT-1333.
