Ubuntu Developer Tool Center (UDTC) officially renamed to Ubuntu Make

Ubuntu developers officially renamed that Ubuntu Developer Tools Center to "Ubuntu Make". Well this name suggested by lot of Ubuntu users as you know that few weeks ago, the team has launched a contest to rename Ubuntu Developers Tools Center (UDTC) and here they officially renamed it to Ubuntu Make.

According to official announcement, during the contest, over 40 names were proposed on IRC, Google Plus and via comments on Ubuntu forums. Ubuntu team has shown their gratitude towards Walter Lapchynski, who came up with this awesome name and will receive his T-Shirt as a token of gift for winning the contest of renaming UDTC. The community updated the documentation, project page to match the newer name of UDTC and also included redirection for smooth transition. By renaming the UDTC to Ubuntu Make, the community also launches "umake" command which primarily emphasizes on the usage of Ubuntu as a great developer platform and create awesome applications and services. The community officially announces the release of first Ubuntu Make 0.2 version and also promised to provide support for renamed and older version of UDTC.
