Greg K Hartman announces Kernel 3.15.4 with New Improvements & Bug Fixes


Greg Kroah Hartman officially announces the release of Linux Kernel 3.15.4 with new features and bug fixes. It is the fourth maintenance release under kernel 3.15 series. All the users who are using previous version of Kernel 3.15 can upgrade their Kernel version to 3.15.4 version.

According to official announcement, Greg K Hartman state that "I'm announcing the release of the 3.15.4 kernel. All users of the 3.15 kernel series must upgrade. The updated 3.15.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-3.15.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary".

This release considered as one of the big release as it brings several improvements along with bug fixes. These new improvements includes architecture enhancements for x86, PowerPC and MIPS along with updated drivers such as iSCSI, PCI, Watchdog and InfiBand.
