Plasma 5.2 released with Correct Fingerprint Reader Swipe & Other Refined Features

KDE Community officially announces the release of Plasma 5.2 update with several bugfixes and improvements. As you know that Plasma 5.2 was release earlier this year and now this update comes with refined features along with addition of new modules to complete desktop experience.

According to official announcement, Plasma 5.2 comes with fixed powerdevil from using full CPU, fixed crash when switching to/from Breeze widget style. It doesn't turn off the screen or suspend the computer when watching videos in a web browser. It shows correct prompt for a fingerprint reader swipe and also show correct connection name in Plasma Network Manager.

The KScreen receives fixes like fixed crash when multiple EDID requests for the same output are enqueued and fixed visual representation of output rotation. The Plasma Desktop gets improved rubber band feel and consistency with Dolphin. It also uses smooth transformation for scaling down the user picture.
