Netrunner Linux Distro team officially announces the release of Netrunnner 14 codename "Frontier" with new features and available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. As Netrunner 14 is based on Kubuntu 14.04 and has similar support cycle which means it has long term support for next 5 years via backport repos.

According to official announcement, Netrunner 14 Linux Distro comes with KDE Dreamdesktop environment for animated backgrounds and support for new default theme. It also includes firefox instant start, baloo superseding nepomuk, single-click activated default and veromix audio-applet.

Other new updated applications includes KDE 4.13.1, firefox 30, VLC 2.1.4 Player, Skype 4.3, Muon Discover 2.2 and other latest available updates of several packages in repository. You might also like to check out latest Linux Distribution releases and what's new in them ?
