Yorba developers officially announces the release of Shotwell 0.19.0 (Image Viewer) with new changes and bug fixes. The Yorba developers recently updated their Geary and Shotwell project with new features and their corresponding PPAs are also updated.

According to official announcement, Shotwell 0.19.0 comes with support for Rajce.net along with addition of Gallery 3 photo services. This release includes better detection of corrupt images during import. It also allows you to set background image for lock screen and few updated translations. Apart from this, it also includes minor bug fixes.

Like other image viewers, Shotwell is very popular among Linux users and currently is part of default image viewer for elementary OS. This application by default works on all GNOME based desktops. You might also like to check out other latest Software News on our website.
