digiKam developers officially announces the release of digiKam 4.4.0 with new features and few improvements. The main objective behind releasing this release is to close the issues which were reported since previous release. The developers are trying to make it more than stable than earlier by fixing all the issues reported earlier.

According to official announcement, digiKam 4.4.0 comes with slideshow support multi-monitors computer and use a new OSD widget. The users can now also change Tags and Labels through keyboard shortcuts. This release also includes new keyboard shortcut to switch on/off color managed view for thumbnails and preview.

The new keyboard shortcuts of digiKam 4.4 are used to improve usability while photo review. It is also now possible to navigate between pictures using Page Up/Down while editing properties through captions/tags sidebar. You might also like to check out other latest Software News on our website.
