Manjaro 0.8.10 Ninth Update Pack comes with Budgie Desktop 6 & Updated Kernels
Manjaro development team officially announces the release of ninth update pack of Manjaro 0.8.10 distro with new and updated packages and applications. According to official announcement, Manjaro 0.8.10 Update pack 9 officially comes with support for new Budgie Desktop 6 environment, a new desktop environment which uses Gnome3 technology in new fashion. With the Budgie Desktop 6 environment, you can create a slim gnome-like desktop with low ram usage.
The Manjaro 0.8.10 Update Pack 9 also includes updated linux312 and linux38 which brings three kernels to their End of Life period. The team officially recommends that every user must update their kernel series to higher kernel series if anyone is using previous version of kernel. Other new features of Manjaro 0.8.10 Update Pack 9 includes LibreOffice 4.3.1 which contains several fixes in 4.3 series, updated Mozilla Firefox 32.0 browser along with Thunderbird 31.1 mail client.
