HTC Desire 820, first 64-bit Handset, officially announced at IFA Conference


HTC is planning to launch 64-bit smartphone from quite a while. Well the HTC is already made an announcement for releasing the first 64-bit which is HTC Desire 510 along with another Desire 820 smartphone which is also based on 64-bit chipset. Among these two desire handsets, Desire 510 will be cheaper one.

According to announcement made at IFA conference, it is officially confirmed that HTC Desire 820 smartphone soon going to launch and will be the first one which supports 64-bit chipset. It is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor along with support for 4G LTE network. By default, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

The HTC Desire 820 smartphone also includes 5.5 inch HD screen display along with 13MP camera which offers support for autofocus, LED flash and full HD video recording. It also supports 2GB RAM along with 16GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
