In today's HowTo Tutorial, we will discuss how to install HandBrake 0.10 using PPA on Ubuntu 14.10, 14.04, Kubuntu 14.10, 14.04, Xubuntu 14.10, 14.04, Linux Mint 17 and other latest PPA based Linux Distros.

Step Wise Installation of HandBrake 0.10 (Video Transcoder) using PPA on Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Linux Mint and other PPA based distros

Step 1 : Before beginning the installation, Open the terminal and run or copy the following command in terminal to add PPA for HandBrake 0.10 on your PPA based Linux Distros.

Step 2 : Next, run or copy the following command in terminal to update recently added PPA for HandBrake 0.10 in the software repository on your PPA based Linux Distros.

Step 3 : Finally, run or copy the following command in terminal to install latest stable HandBrake 0.10 on your PPA based Linux Distros.

After installation, search for "HandBrake" application either in Unity Dash or in Application menu. Now with the help of HandBrake convert your audio and video files from one format to another format on your system.
