Final Beta of Ubuntu 14.10 is frozen down & now available for Testing
Canonical officially announces the freeze down of development of final beta version of upcoming Ubuntu 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" release. As you know that final and stable release of Ubuntu 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" going to arrive in next month, before that beta version is now available for testing purposes.
According to official announcement made by Adam Conrad, developer at Ubuntu, it is revealed that the development of final beta version of Ubuntu 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" freezes down which means that it will be available for testing in couple of weeks. The archive is frozen down for Ubuntu 14.10 Final beta preparation and will continue to be frozen from here until final release is available in next month.
The development team also provides a bot which will accept uploads which are unseeded and doesn't affect images. Well they also suggest that, don't take this as an open invitation to break feature freeze on those components. This is a mandatory action taken by community to reduce the burden on release team so that they only review the uploads and take necessary action against serious considerations. Also, review recent Linux Distro News to know what's new in them ?
The final and stable Ubuntu 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" is expected to arrive on October 23. Till then you can report any bug or issue which you find while using beta version of Utopic Unicorn. You might also like to check out other latest Software News on our website.
