Debian 8.0 "Jessie" freezes its features & now open for Bugfixes Only


The Debian development team officially announces that the features of Debian 8.0 "Jessie" now frozen till the stable release. According to this, nobody can put further updates in this release and currently it is opened for bugfixes. The valid candidates for unblocks are divided into five categories. According to official announcement by community, it is confirmed that the features of upcoming Debian 8.0 "Jessie" is now freeze its features but development can push changes if something really important comes up before the final release.
