4MLinux development team officially announces the release of 4MLinux 9.1 Media Beta Edition with new and updated applications. As you know that 4MLinux offers wide range of flavors with different objective. So 4MLinux 9.1 Media Edition is specially designed to provide variety of multimedia tools and software.

According to official announcement, 4MLinux 9.1 Media Beta Edition comes with updated applications, some of them includes set of applications for playing like MPlayer SVN-r37218 with SMPlayer and SMTube SVN-r6262, Qmmp 0.8.0, Xine 1.2.6, TiMidity++ 2.14.0 and MikMod 3.3.6. You can also download ISO Image of 4MLinux 9.1 Media Beta Edition for your machine.

This release also includes encoding and decoding applications like FFmpeg Git-2014-06-01, FLAC 1.3.0, GStreamer 0.10.36, LAME 3.99.5, MAD 0.15.2b, MEncoder SVN-r37218, sndfile 1.0.25, VorbisTools 1.4.0 and WavPack 4.70.0.
