How to Install Whisker Menu 1.4.0 using PPA on Xubuntu 14.10 & 14.04
Whisker Menu is another application launcher available for XFCE based Linux Distros. It shows you a list of applications which you have marked as favorites. You can also browse through all of your installed applications by clicking on the category buttons on the side. In today's HowTo Tutorial, we will discuss how to install Whisker Menu 1.4.0 using PPA on Xubuntu 14.10, Xubuntu 14.04 and other PPA based Linux Distros. Well if you try to run the following commands on other Ubuntu derivatives, then you must run them at your own risk.
Step Wise Installation of Whisker Menu 1.4.0 using PPA on Xubuntu 14.10, Xubuntu 14.04
Step 1 : Before beginning the installation, Open the terminal and run or copy the following command in terminal to add PPA for Whisker Menu 1.4.0 on your Xubuntu system.

Step Wise Installation of Whisker Menu 1.4.0 using PPA on Xubuntu 14.10, Xubuntu 14.04
Step 1 : Before beginning the installation, Open the terminal and run or copy the following command in terminal to add PPA for Whisker Menu 1.4.0 on your Xubuntu system.
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gottcode/gcppa
Step 2 : Next, run or copy the following command in terminal to update recently added PPA for Whisker Menu 1.4.0 in the software repository on your Xubuntu system.
$ sudo apt-get update
Step 3 : Finally, run or copy the following command in terminal to install latest stable Whisker Menu 1.4.0 on your Xubuntu system.
$ sudo apt-get install xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin
After installation, search for "Whisker Menu" in application menu. Now with the help of this tool, you can easily manage and browse installed applications on your Xubuntu system.

How to Install XFCE Theme Manager 0.3.6 using PPA on Xubuntu 14.10 & 14.04

Midori 0.5.9 Browser released with Bookmark Option & Other Bugfixes
Midori developers officially announces the release of Midori 0.5.9 Web Browser which includes new changes, improvements and minor bugfixes. As you all know that Midori Web Browser is another lightweighted browser which works on XFCE desktop environment and quite fast like other browsers. It uses customizable interface which is based in GTK+ toolkit.
According to official announcement, the updated Midori Web Browser comes with support for latest web technologies like HTML 5 and CSS3. It allows you to listen music on Rdio, play Angry Birds game etc. The webkit rendering engine provides enhanced speed and supports most popular websites including Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify and Rdio.
The developers claimed that the issues which was arised by dead code is now eliminated from this release. The "Add Bookmark" option is added in the main menu. Among other fixes, it includes corrected memory leaks, enhanced visibility of SpeedDial, Toolbar and Bookmarkbar context menu items.
