Manjaro 0.8.10 receives Final and 12th Update Pack with Updated Packages
Rob McCathie, developer at Manjaro, officially announces the release of twelfth update pack for Manjaro 0.8.10 which includes upgraded applications along with few improvements. Well as you know that during the previously 11th update pack release, Manjaro development team mentioned that would be the final update pack but now again they have published another update pack because they get delayed due to major version releases of various core softwares.
According to official announcement, this update pack of Manjaro 0.8.10 includes updated kernels like 3.10.57, 3.12.30, 3.14.21 and 3.16.5 versions. The Java packages are updated because they require intervention, but the updated manjaro-system script now handles this issue easily. According to team, it is confirmed that this update is quite small, but update will be much bigger and will be coninciding with 0.8.11 installation media release. The bar-aint-recursive, bspwn and other related packages are updated in this release whereas protobuf updates mean the compiz packages will get a compatibility update. Among updated application, this update pack includes updated VirtualBox 4.3.18 with extramodules, updated bluez 5.24, KDE4, updated Mesa 10.3.1.
