In today's HowTo Tutorial, we will discuss how to install Whisker Menu 1.4.0 using PPA on Xubuntu 14.10, Xubuntu 14.04 and other PPA based Linux Distros. Well if you try to run the following commands on other Ubuntu derivatives, then you must run them at your own risk.

Step Wise Installation of Whisker Menu 1.4.0 using PPA on Xubuntu 14.10, Xubuntu 14.04

Step 1 : Before beginning the installation, Open the terminal and run or copy the following command in terminal to add PPA for Whisker Menu 1.4.0 on your Xubuntu system.

Step 2 : Next, run or copy the following command in terminal to update recently added PPA for Whisker Menu 1.4.0 in the software repository on your Xubuntu system.

Step 3 : Finally, run or copy the following command in terminal to install latest stable Whisker Menu 1.4.0 on your Xubuntu system.

After installation, search for "Whisker Menu" in application menu. Now with the help of this tool, you can easily manage and browse installed applications on your Xubuntu system.
