Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Duos officially recieves an Update for Android 4.4 KitKat
Samsung Smartphones officially announces the release of Android 4.4 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Duos smartphones. Well earlier Samsung already made an announcement about providing Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Galaxy S4 Mini Duos smartphone and here it comes with new features.
According to one of the announcement at SamMobile, it is officially confirmed that Galaxy S4 Mini Duos smartphone officially recieves Android 4.4 KitKat update. This update is available via OTA (Over The Air) and currently restricted to Russia but soon will be available to other parts of world. You can also download the Android 4.4 KitKat update and then install it manually on your Galaxy S4 Mini Duos smartphones.
Well its quite amusing to know that Samsung provided Android 4.4 KitKat update for Galaxy S4 Mini Duos and Galaxy S4 Mini Black Edition but the original Galaxy S4 Mini GT-19190 smartphone still runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Beans but we hope that Samsung soon will provide Android 4.4 KitKat for it too.
This Android 4.4 KitKat update comes with general performance improvements along with streamlined UI design with white status bar icons, expanded emojis, closed captions support for videos and full-screen album art on the lockscreen.
