Manjaro 0.8.11 receives fifth Update Pack with Firefox 35 & Kernel 3.18
Manjaro development team officially announces the release of fifth update pack for Manjaro 0.8.11 with new and updated packages. As you know that with each update pack, Manjaro 0.8.11 receives new and updated packages, so enjoy the updated packages and applications on your Manjaro 0.8.11 distro.
According to official announcement, the fifth update pack of Manjaro 0.8.11 comes with pacman 4.2, pamac 2.1, plasma 5.6.0, package-query 1.5 and pyalpm 0.7 along with Kodi 14.0 which replaces default XBMC. The team also developed a simple solution for updating pacman properly without conflicts which also works with pamac. It also includes regular Archlinux fixes. This update of Manjaro 0.8.11 includes updated kernel branch such as 3.10.64, 3.14.28, 3.17.8 and 3.18.2. All these updated Kernel versions supports early microcode loading. Among other application, the fifth update pack of Manjaro 0.8.11 includes updated Firefox 35.0, Thunderbird 31.4 and Flash plugin 11.2.202.429. along with Dropbox version and several Mirror lists.
