KDE 4.14.1 Applications and Platform officially Updated with Bug Fixes

KDE Community officially announces the release of KDE 4.14.1 Applications and Platform which is the first release under series of monthly stabilization updates to 4.14.x series. Well if you are expecting some new features from this release, then you might get disappointed to here that it contains only bug fixes and translation updates.

According to official announcement, KDE 4.14.1 Applications and Platform comes with more than 50 recorded bug fixes which primarily includes improvements to Personal Information Management suite Kontact, Umbrello UML Modelle, the document viewer Okular, the vocabulary learning application Parley and the file manager Dolphin. Among several bug fixes, KDE 4.14.1 Applications and Platform includes ark shows the file's name in the infopanel even when it isn't opened correctly, kmplot hangs after setting uScaling to negative value, KOrganizer is not showing some recurring meetings, summary doesn't show upcoming events and PHP comment not highlighted correctly.
