Canonical announces the release schedule of Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet"

Canonical officially announces the release date of upcoming Ubuntu 15.04 codenamed "Vivid Vervet". The Ubuntu 15.04 LTS will be released exactly siz months after on 23rd April, 2015. Currently lot of developers are working on Ubuntu Touch as it will be available soon for its Ubuntu phone users.

According to announcement made by Canonical, it is clear that the upcoming Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" will be quite interesting than 14.10 release. The upcoming releases of Ubuntu are might crucial for developers as they simutaneously working on Ubuntu Touch and Desktop flavors. The community is also planning to introduce Mir Display Server along with Unity Desktop in upcoming Ubuntu 15.04 release. Also, review recent Linux Distro News to know what's new in them ?

Well the Mir Display Server and Unity Desktop might not be possible in all 15.04 variants, but Canonical claims that they will try their best to incorporate these new features in all flavors but if they will fail than they will provide these updates in future releases. The schedule claims that the first alpha version will arrive on 18th December, second on 22nd January and after that the development will be freezes from 19th February onwards.
