Image Editor, Fotoxx 14.08 receives Support for Edit Metadata in RAW Images


Fotoxx team officially announces the release of Fotoxx 14.08 with new features and minor bug fixes. As you know that Fotoxx is an open source photo editing and collection management software which allows you edit your personal images. This release includes several new features along with performance improvements. This software is specifically designed for Linux distros.

According to official announcement, Fotoxx 14.08 comes with improved user interface which is used for creating or replacing a collection. The images inside collection can now be rearranged by dragging thumbnails. With this updated Fotoxx, you can easily edit metadata in RAW images which was earlier restricted. Some of the non obvious dialog controls now have popup tips when moused-over.

Fotoxx 14.08 comes with new effect by which you can create waves or add random waves to an image or selected area. The Undo/Redo button is now combined with "A" key so that it is possible to perform Undo/Redo action all files. The menu icon size is now adjustable through Tools -> User Settings. You can also open previous file which retains zoom size and position to facilitate fast comparison of two zoomed image versions.
