Minecraft Game officially arrives for Windows Phone, now in Testing Phase

Microsoft officially purchased Minecraft creator Mojang for $2.5 billion for its Windows based devices. Earlier this year, the developers of Mojang already confirmed that soon Minecraft going to land for Windows Phone and now they have revealed the first screenshot of Minecraft on Windows Phone.

According to tweets by Tommaso Checchi, it is officially confirmed that Minecraft soon going to available for Windows Phone devices. Currently, there is no information revealed about its availability for Windows Phone devices, but we are assuming the it soon will be available for Windows Phone as it is now in testing phase.

Checchi also clarified that bringing Minecraft on Windows Phone wasn't a decision made following Microsoft's acquisition of Mojang, but the development was started long time ago. He also added, "The port is in the first stages though. It's kind of slow now and needs optimization, so in full Mojang style the release date is 'soon.'
