Calibre 1.48 released with Driver for Kiano Booky Light & Other Bug Fixes

Calibre team officially announces the release of Calibre 1.48 with new changes and minor bug fixes. This release includes fixes of previously release Calibre 1.47 and also contains improved new sources such as Maximum PC and El Correo. Calibre is a ebook reader, editor, convertor and creator which is primarily used to manage multiple ebooks at a time.

According to official announcement, Calibre 1.48 allows reloading of current book by pressing F5 or Ctrl+R. It also allows you to change the case of selected text by right clicking and choosing the appropriate change case action. This release also includes driver for Kiano Booky Light which earlier creates some problems. You can easily make the list of bookmarks a dockable window which can be kept open while reading the book.

Calibre 1.48 also allows you to specify multiple internal files to open and get rid of no longer needed --edit-file option. It also make the table of contents panel a dockable window so it can be moved around and even made into a separate floating window. Apart from these new features, Calibre 1.48 also receives minor bug fixes such as fix over-aggressive caching which causes multiple cover grid emblem rules to not work.

This release also fixes a regression which causes clicking on links in the preview panel that leads to destinations in the same HTML file popping up a spurious error message and fix a regression which causes tags to not be sorted when displayed in the book details panel. It includes more robust implementation of current tag detection for Live CSS and uses same logic as matching tag highlighting.
