Parsix GNU/Linux 7.0 released with GNOME 3.12.2, Kernel 3.14.23 & Updated Apps

Parsix developers officially announces the release of Parsix 7.0 which is the final version of Debian "Wheezy" based Linux Distro. Parsix is also codenamed as "Nestor" and now available for download. As you know that Parsix GNU/Linux is a live and installation DVD based on Debian which allows its users to install desktop and laptop optimized operating system based on Debian's testing branch and latest stable release of GNOME desktop environment.

According to official announcement, Parsix GNU/Linux 7.0 comes with latest GNOME desktop environment, latest kernel 3.14.23 build, updated installer and support for UEFI based systems. This release ships with GNOME 3.12.2 and updated LibreOffice Suite. You can also download the ISO Image of Parsix GNU/Linux 7.0 for your machine.

Among other updated applications, Parsix GNU/Linux 7.0 includes GNOME Shell 3.12.2, X.Org 7.7, GRUB 2, Firefox 33.0, GParted 0.12.1, Empathy 3.12.7, LibreOffice 3.5.4, VirtualBox 4.3.10 and Kernel 3.14.23 with TuxOnice 3.3.
