The Xbox Video team officially announces the release of new update for Xbox Video App for Windows Phone. This update only contains bug fixes and you may not find any new feature in this release. Xbox Video App allows you to play your favorite movies, videos and TV shows on your Windows Phone.

According to official announcement, Xbox Video App for Windows Phone updated to 1.6.115.0 version on Windows Phone 8 whereas it is updated to 2.6.115.0 on Windows Phone 8.1. This updated Xbox Video App primarily includes two fixes from previous release.

The first issue which is fixed in this release is where rental expiration notifications showed an incorrect countdown. Some of the customers reported about an error which appaear as "This content is currently unavailable for streaming.
