Opera 25 Dev Browser released with PDF Viewer & New Online Installer Support


Opera Browser development team officially announces the release of Opera 25 Dev with new updated features like PDF viewer and other improvements with minor bug fixes. Opera 25 Dev browser also includes minor issue like switching tabs focuses the address field on both Windows and Linux.

According to official announcement, Opera 25 Dev Browser comes with support for PDF viewer along with new online package installer for Windows systems. The new PDF viewer in Opera browser allows you to open PDF documents without installing any third party plugins. The issue where clicking links on pages deviously lead to disruption in workflow which is corrected in this plugin.

The Opera 25 Dev's PDF solution is based on Chromium's PDFium plugin. If you want to use any other third party PDF viewer than you can use it without any problem. The Opera's PDF solution will be available only when there is no other plugin installed in your Opera browser.

Apart from PDF viewer support, this release also supports new online package installer for Windows as you know that the previous network installer of Opera browser for Windows has very limited UI because there was only one progress bar.
