Manjaro 0.8.11 Final released with Xfce 4.11, KDE5, Kernel 3.16 & Octopi 0.5

Manjaro development team officially announces the release of stable and final version of Manjaro 0.8.11 with new features. Well from previous RC releases, the team was quite focusing on common core requirements of Manjaro's broad user-base. The Xfce flavor of Manjaro 0.8.11 is considered as the flagship release for this year.
According to official announcement, the developers of Manjaro Xfce claims that they ship components from Xfce 4.11 series after having tested them in house and also ensures suitability for everyday use. The Manjaro Xfce 0.8.11 now uses LightDM for login management, display locking and user switching including custom integration for Xfce.
The Turkish Manjaro community state that Manjaro 0.8.11 KDE edition is one of the powerful, mature and feature-rich desktop environment with unique look and feel along with perks of Manjaro's latest tools. The most prominent feature of KDE edition is the introduction of KDE Plasma 5 along with KDE 5 desktop environment. Also, review recent Linux Distro News to know what's new in them ?
As we discussed in our previous posts that Manjaro 0.8.11 edition uses Linux Kernel 3.16 branch because being the latest one among kernel series it also offers long term support along with modern features and hardware support. Manjaro 0.8.11 edition also comes with updated Manjaro Settings Manager which provides easy-to-use graphical interface for installing and removing many Kernel versions because at least 6 kernel series are available in binary repository of Manjaro. You can also download the ISO Image of Manjaro 0.8.11 both in Xfce and KDE flavor to install it on your machine.
