Manjaro 0.8.10 Linux recieves Third Update Pack which includes Kernel 3.15.3


Manjaro development team officially announces the release of third update for its Manjaro 0.8.10 Distro release. As you know that few days ago, Manjaro released stable 0.8.10 release and now they are providing updates for that release.

According to official announcement, Manjaro 0.8.10 comes with almost all the latest and stable Linux Kernel images. All the latest Kernel version now includes BFQ v7r5 and AUFS v3. The team also state that they have dropped linux34 becuase it creates some issues while i686 is booting up.

This update pack also includes support for OpenRC/EuDEV on which Artoo and Aaditya developers working on it. They have also illustrated some of the tips about how to boot via OpenRC/EuDEV on Manjaro Linux Distro. The Octopl is updated to 0.4.1 version. This release also includes Linux Kernel 3.15.3 version which is the stable release under 3.15 Kernel series. Also, review other recent Linux Distro releases which are available for download.

Other updates includes in this third pack are support for Xorg-Server 1.15.2  along with other latest propritary drivers. The NVIDIA 331 series graphics drivers are updated to 331.89 version. The document software, Calligra is also updated to 2.8.5 version. The rest of the updates includes updates and rebuilds by Archlinux.
