In today's HowTo Tutorial, we will discuss how to install TLP 0.6 using PPA on Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna and other PPA based Linux Distros.You might also like to check out other latest Software News on our website.

Important Note : The TLP tool doesn't work properly is it detects laptop-mode-tools on your system, so you better remove it if you want to use TLP on your machine. To remove laptop-mode-tools, you have to run following command in terminal.

Step 1 : Before beginning the installation, Open the terminal and run or copy the following command in terminal to add PPA for TLP 0.6 in your repository.

Step 2 : Next, run or copy the following command in terminal to update recently added PPA for TLP 0.6 in the software repository on your PPA based Linux Distros.

Step 3 : Finally, run or copy the following command in terminal to install latest stable TLP 0.6 on your PPA based Linux Distros.

Step 4 : After installation, Launch "TLP" by running the following command in terminal.

That's All, now you will access all the features of TLP on your system.
