How to Install NVIDIA 331.89 Driver via PPA on Ubuntu Variants & Linux Mint
NVIDIA is a famous graphics driver which is available for multiple platforms. Step Wise Installation of NVIDIA 331.89 (GPU Drivers) using PPA Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Linux Mint and other PPA based Linux Distros.
Step 1 : First open the terminal and run or copy the following command in terminal to add PPA for NVIDIA 331.89 on your PPA based Linux Distros.
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
Step 2 : Next, run or copy the following command in terminal to update recently added PPA of NVIDIA 331.89 in the software repository on your PPA based Linux Distros.
$ sudo apt-get update
Step 3 : Finally, run or copy the following command in terminal to install latest stable NVIDIA 331.89 driver on your PPA based Linux Distros.
$ sudo apt-get install nvidia-331
After installation, you can verify the version of NVIDIA and configure its settings on your machine.
