GNOME Webcam, Cheese 3.13.92 released with New Updates & Minor Fixes


Cheese developers officially announces the release of Cheese 3.13.92 with several new changes along with minor bug fixes. There are plenty of webcam apps available for Linux but Cheese is quite popular among GNOME based distros as it allows you to take pictures and videos from webcam along with several advanced setting operations.

According to official announcement, Cheese 3.13.92 comes with removed outdated GTK+ version check along with removed outdated intltool build rules. This release also uses APPSTREAM_XML instead of APPDATA_XML. It also comes with large number of new added or updated translations which is voluntarily forwarded by developers.

Among other new changes and fixes, Cheese 3.13.92 comes with removed some unnecessary pkg-config dependencies, fixed crash when animating countdown and post-release version bump to 3.13.91. The Cheese program allows you to add various effects and morph the images as well as allows you to make videos, chat with other people and share their favorite work.
