GNOME Shell 3.14 Beta 1 receives GLSL Support, Fixed Portals & Other Fixes

Florian Mullner, developer at GNOME Shell, officially announces the release of GNOME Shell 3.13.90 with new improvements and minor bug fixes. As you know that GNOME Shell provides core user interface functions for GNOME 3 desktop such as switching to windows and launching applications. It takes advantage of capabilities of modern graphics hardware and introduces innovative user interface concepts
According to official announcement, GNOME Shell 3.14 Beta 1 comes with improved window manager animations and adds software to default favorites. This release makes use of GLSL optional and update on-screen-keyboard position on monitor changes. It also handles touch events and fixes overview exceeding screen size with many apps installed. GNOME Shell 3.14 Beta 1 also improves app picker <-> desktop transition and remove <shift>-magic for switcher popups. It includes support for default disabled search providers and adds special background to use for performance testing. Among other fixes, it includes fixed portals which doesn't redirect properly and fixed history trimming in chat notifications.
