Dropbox 2.11.5 for Linux released with fixed UAC Elevation Prompts Issue
Dropbox development team officially announces the release of Dropbox 2.11.5 with minor bug fixes. This is an experimental version which contains minor bug fixes. Few days ago, Dropbox 2.11.4 comes with minor bug fixes and now Dropbox 2.11.5 is available for Linux Distros.
According to official announcement, Dropbox 2.11.5 comes with fixed issue which causes extra UAC elevation prompts which will be shown on Windows. This release also includes fixing an issue which causes users to download Dropbox again after declining UAC.
As you know that Dropbox 2.11.5 is the fifth release under 2.11.x series. The other changes which you might notice in 2.11.x series includes rewritten UI of dropbox for Windows & Linux platforms, support for file identifiers, support for Windows long path, addition of new Linux headless setup flow, updated splash screens and new finder icon overlays.
