Calibre 2.5.0 gets Windows Driver Support for Trekstor Pyrus 2 LED & Other Fixes

Calibre developers officially announces the release of Calibre 2.5.0 which is another update of Calibre with minor new additions along with several bug fixes. Well this is another maintenance release which primarily includes several bug fixes and improved new sources like The Hindu, Carta and Sueddeutsche Zeitung.

According to official announcement, Calibre 2.5.0 comes with Windows driver for Trekstor Pyrus 2 LED. This release allows changing the website which is used as a dictionary for looking up words in the viewer. You can click the Preferences button in the viewer and choose the dictionaries tab to customize the website.

Apart from these new features, Calibre 2.5.0 also includes several bug fixes like fixed a typo preventing calibre from recognizing the new Kobo Aura H2O and fixes leading or trailing hyphens on words being ignored when spell checking. It also fixes a regression caused by Qt 5 behavior change which causes incorrect colors to be shown when viewing MOBI files which use CSS3 color specifications internally.

The spell check feature of Calibre 2.5.0 also receives minor fixes like fix replaced words coming back into the list when toggling the "Show only misspelled words" setting and fix replacing a word with multiple words causing the replacements to show up erroneously in the list of misspelled words.

Among other fixes, Calibre 2.5.0 includes fixed drag and drop of books onto a language not setting the language in tag browser, fixed getting cover from EPUB files that have no cover image by rendering the first page as the cover not working and fixed disabled color schemes not being saved.
