GNOME Boxes 3.16.1 receives correct Screenshot for Shutdown & Windows XP fix
GNOME Community officially announces the release of GNOME Boxes 3.16.1 with new additions along with minor bugfixes. Many of you don't know that GNOME Boxes is an application of GNOME Desktop Environment which is used to access remote or virtual systems. With the help of GNOME Boxes, you can easily view, access and use virtual machines on removable media, share connections, upload/publish virtual machines, select favorites and search for connections.
According to official announcement, GNOME Boxes 3.16.1 comes with support for home directories on filesystems with O_DIRECT support and shows boxes in menus of other desktops than GNOME, too. This release only add USB keyboard and mouse to new VMs they are supported out of the box by the guest OS. This fixes installation of Windows XP.
It also load correct screenshot for shutdown machines and gracefully handle case of no cpu defined in libvirt VMs. Apart from these features, it also fixes the issue of wizard remaining in secondary views when cancelled through 'Esc' key.
