LibreOffice 4.3.2 available on 4th Anniversary of Document Foundation
The Document Foundation officially announces the release of LibreOffice 4.3.2 just before the forth anniversary of LibreOffice software. Well this is the second minor release under LibreOffice 4.3.x "fresh" family and comes with fixes of issues which were reported since previous release.
According to official announcement, LibreOffice 4.3.2 comes with over 80 fixes which primarily focused on interoperability issues when reading or writing Microsoft Office DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files. The Document Foundation has been growing for the past 48 months by attracting at least three new developers per month plus a larger number of volunteers active in localization, QA and other areas such as marketing and development of local communities. LibreOffice 4.3.5 Suite released with Over 70 Bugfixes & Minor Improvements
The Document Foundation officially announces the release of LibreOffice 4.3.5 with new features, few improvements and several bugfixes. Well you know that this is the fifth minor release under 4.3.x "fresh" branch. This release includes almost over 70 bugfixes. The foundation also suggests to deploy LibreOffice 4.3.5 in enterprise and large organizations when backed by professional support by certified individuals capable of providing value added support.
According to official announcement, LibreOffice 4.3.5 suite comes with minor new features but several bugfixes. Some of the fixes in LibreOffice 4.3.5 against LibreOffice 4.3.4 includes fixed bad conversation of old-style UNO service, fixed SOLARIS-INTEL case, fixed poor performance with find & replace with empty value and fixed crash when open doc file.
Among other bugfixes, LibreOffice 4.3.5 includes Icon in Calc toolbar for wrap text, inherits cell styles in inserting rows/columns, related Forget package URL of image after it is loaded, prevent use of invalidated iterator due to re-entrance, better font selection in Japanese locale on Mac OS X, check that the case works in both update references modes and make sure to check for formula first. LibreOffice 4.3.4 receives Improved RTF Import, XLSX Chart & DOCX Support
The Document Foundation officially announces the release of LibreOffice 4.3.4 with minor changes and fixes. Well this is the fourth minor and maintenance release of LibreOffice 4.3.x branch codenamed "Fresh". This release is a stable release and specifically designed for users who primarily focus on new features.
According to official announcement, LibreOffice 4.3.4 comes with over 60 bug fixes including some improvements to existing features. There is very few changes in this release if compared with previously released LibreOffice 4.3.4 RC suite. It mainly includes fixing of issues which were reported in previous RC release. You can also download LibreOffice 4.3.4 for your system.
Some of the fixes and improvements in LibreOffice 4.3.4 includes fixed slide pane cut/copy/paste options, the RTF import has been improved, some XLSX chart improvements have been implemented and DOCX import function has been refined. - CMIS: Default Alfresco 4 URL not working.
- make template dialog Modal.
- broadcast changes after TextToColumn.
- Don't expose 0 for empty cells in Calc.
- SIFR: Line Spacing 1.5 icon missing (4.3).
- set spinbox value AFTER adjusting no. of decimal places.
- sw: fix text formatting of proportional line space < 100%.
- avoid broadcasting during cell delete & shift.
- broadcast changes before EndUndo().
- accessiblitiy focus not tracked for cells in Calc.
