Tencent WeChat Ltd. officially announces the release of updated WeChat 5.3 App for Windows Phone with support for Cortana along with new features. As you know that Cortana Voice Assistant is very popular among Windows Phone users and currently lot of Windows Phone app also provide support for Cortana assistant, so WeChat developers also provide Cortana support for easy accessibility.

According to official announcement, WeChat 5.3 App for Windows Phone allows you to select multiple photos and send them in chats. It also recalls the last message which you have sent within last two minutes. The main highlighted feature of WeChat 5.3 is its capability to open WeChat or enable WeChat functions with the help of Voice Assistant Cortana.

Among other core features offered by WeChat App includes instant messaging with group chats and animated smileys, sending photos and videos has never been simpler, real walkie talkie mode with up to 40 friends, get message alerts instantly with push notifications, import contacts and add friends instantly.
