VirtualBox 4.3.14 for Linux receives VMM, GUI, NAT Network, Storage Fixes
Oracle VirtualBox team officially announces the release of VirtualBox 4.3.14 which is the 14th stable release under 4.3 series. This is just a maintenance release which primarily includes fixes of earlier releases. As you know that VirtualBox 4.3 series quite popular series with most advanced features.
According to official announcement, VirtualBox 4.3.14 comes with major fixes for VMM, GUI, NAT, NAT Network and Storage. For Linux users, this release brings 3D pass-through work with recent versions of Mesa in the guest and fixes issues found in Linux 3.16 along with compile fix for EL7.
It includes more fixes for MSR emulation on certain hardware and also improves MSI handling under rare circumstances. To enhanced graphical user interface, VirtualBox 4.3.14 includes fixed potential crash, fixed stuck AltGr key on Windows hosts and fixed update check which was broken due to changing the location of the root certificates. Apart from this, some of the fixed made in NAT Network which includes fixed potential loss of inbound TCP data and fixed resets of TCP connections on Windows hosts.
Other improvements in VirtualBox 4.3.14 includes USB performance fixes, properly reset MSI capability on reset, fixed misbehavior with huge guests in 3D and fixed permissions of files and directories located on shared folders in Solaris.
