uGet 2.0 Beta available for Testing with Updated UI, curl & aria2 Plugins

uGet developers officially announces the release of uGet 2 Beta with new features and currently available for testing purposes. Well you know that uGet 2.x will be the next branch of uGet which comes with several new additions. The developers already publishes uGet 2 Beta for Arch, Fedora, Ubuntu and Windows users.

According to official announcement, uGet 2 Beta recevies several new additions in multiple flavors like uGet curl plugin, uGet aria2 plugin, uGet application and uGet GTK+ user interface. The curl plugin of uGet 2 gets support for multi-thread downloading, support for mirrors and support for aria2 control file format. The aria2 plugin for uGet also gets support for JSON-RPC batch request to improve remote aria2 downloading, support for aria2 "--out" argument to set output filename and support for RPC authorization secret token. This plugin also adds better support for bittorrent and metalinks along with "split" option to avoid less connections if user specify mirrors. The GTK+ user interface of uGet 2 comes with new setting dialog and provides uget-lto2 to convert setting from old uGet files. You can easily adjust category selector in main window for touch screen. This program sort all downloads by status as well as can also launch custom command when download complete. This release doesn't notify completed if error occurs.
