Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition recieves Update for Android 4.4.4 "KitKat"
Sony Smartphones officially announces the release of Android 4.4.4 "KitKat" update for Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition smartphone. From past few weeks, Sony consistently providing KitKat update for Xperia series smartphones. Till now, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra recieves update for Android KitKat.
According to official announcement by XDA developers, this KitKat update for Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition comes with patch a series of vulnerabilities in OpenSSL which was discovered in previous flavors of KitKat OS. This update includes minor bug fixes which were found in previous KitKat version.
As you know that Android KitKat 4.4.4 update was first available for Nexus smartphones, then Moto G GPe smartphones and now Xperia series of Sony. This update can be installed via over the air and can be downloaded by WiFi connection. The Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition users might recieve a notification regarding update of Android KitKat 4.4.4.
