phpMyAdmin 4.2.8 released with Corrected Export Behavior & Bug Fixes


phpMyAdmin team officially announces the release of phpMyAdmin 4.2.8 with minor bug fixes and few improvements. As you know that phpMyAdmin tool is primarily used to handle MySQL database directly from web browser. This release is the extended version under 4.2.x series with fixes which were reported in previous release.

According to official announcement, phpMyAdmin 4.2.8 allows you to read property from sql.js which allows chart types to be matched with selected data. The CREATE TABLE option AUTO_INCREMENT is no longer ignored when exporting to SQL. The column names are no longer duplicated when assigning index. Apart from this, some of the odd export behavior has been corrected in this release.

Other bug fixes of phpMyAdmin 4.2.8 includes exporting partitioned table is now done correctly, importing ODS files with column names no longer fails, a Navigation Error in Nav Tree for Search results past the first page has been fixed and several other bug fixes.
