OpenGL Graphics Library, Mesa 10.2.5 released with Improvements & Fixes for Hawaii


Mesa team officially announces the release of Mesa 10.2.5 with new changes and bug fixes. This is a maintenance release which primarily includes several bug fixes which were reported since previous stable 10.2.4 release. As you know that Mesa is one of the famous implementation of OpenGL specification and also known as a system for rendering interactive 3D graphics.

According to official announcement, Mesa 10.2.5 comes with well maintained documentation for this release and also adds SHA256 checksums for 10.2.4 release. This release doesn't use memcpy() in _mesa_texstore() for float depth texture data and also fix up intelInitScreen2 for DRI3. It also adds missing persample_shading field to brw_wm_debug_recompile. You can also download the source tarball of Mesa 10.2.5 to compile or build on your Linux distro.

Other fixes incudes fix gl_SampleID  for 2x MSAA and SIMD16 mode, fix order of r600_need_dma_space and r600_context_bo_reloc, fix a hang with instancing on Hawaii, fix occlusion queries on Hawaii, fix build because of lack of draw_indirect infrastructure in 10.2.
