OpenELEC 5.0 RC3 released with Updated Packages & Kernel 3.17 Support

OpenELEC development team officially announces the release of third release candidate of OpenELEC 5.0 with minor updates and fixes. As you know that this is the maintenance release, also known as OpenELEC 4.97.3 which is the base for the upcoming OpenELEC 5.0 stable release.

According to official announcement, OpenELEC 5.0 RC3 comes with updated core components including updated OpenELEC settings 0.5.7, kodi 14-8, vdpauinfo 0.9, boost 1_57_0, libvdpau 0.9, xorg-server 1.16.3, ethtool 3.18, rpcbind 0.2.2, dbus 1.8.12, dosfstools 3.0.27, linux kernel 3.17.7, connman 1.27, and kodi-pvr-addons.
