MySQL Management Tool, phpMyAdmin 4.2.6 released with Minor Bug Fixes


phpMyAdmin development team officially announces the release of phpMyAdmin 4.2.6 tool with minor new changes and bug fixes. Like others, this release is also a maintenance release under 4.2 series. If you are expecting any new features then you might be disappointed as it only includes some issue fixes.

According to official announcement, phpMyAdmin 4.2.6 comes with minor bug fixes which were reported in previous phpMyAdmin 4.2.5 release. This release includes fixing of an undefined index warning with referenced column and improved user interface. The issue of multi column sorting has been fixed in this release.

The sorting no longer breaks the copy column feature. A new JavaScript error which arises when renaming a table is now fixed. Other fixes includes "New Window" link on longer disappears, the detection of privileges for routine creation is done correctly and first few characters of the database name are now clickable after being expanded.
