Manjaro development team officially announces the release of first release candidate version of Manjaro KDE 0.8.11 Edition with updated packages and fixes. This release comes with updated KDE themes and also fixes all the issues which were reported in previous RC release. Well this is just a maintenance release which primarily designed for testing purposes, so that more issues will be fixed before the final stable release. According to official announcement, Manjaro KDE 0.8.11 RC1 comes with updated Linux Kernel 3.16 along with latest version of MESA libraries and other proprietary drivers. It also includes latest graphical tools developed by Manjaro team which automatically allows its users to handle it in user friendly manner. They have also provide support for Octopi along with new KDE themes which attract its users to cutomize them according their interests. Some of the major packages which are updated in this release includes Linux Kernel 3.16.7-1, KDE 4.14.2-1, Manjaro Settings Manager 0.4.2-1, Octopi 0.5.0-0.3 and LibreOffice Fresh 4.3.3-1. Among several theme options available in this release includes updated theme versions like Login Screen contains manjaro redefined kdm theme 1.0.1, Splash Screen contains ksplash theme manjaro redefined 1.0.1-1, Wallpaper contains manjaro green strips, Cursor theme contains Breeze theme and Desktop theme contains Violet Pastel theme.
