Manjaro 0.8.13 first preview is available with XFCE 4.12 and Plasma 5.2.2

Manjaro development team officially announces the release of Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 which is the first preview release of upcoming Manjaro 0.8.13 distro. This upcoming release might come with updated XFCE 4.12, Plasma 5.2.2, KDE Frameworks 5.8.0 and latest KDE Apps 14.12.3.

The Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 KDE flavor receives migration to new, fully hardware-accelerated graphics stack centered around an OpenGL scenegraph. It also going to include Plasma which is built using Qt 5 and Frameworks 5. The Thunar file manager in Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 now supports tabs, inverting selection, improves on location handling and shortcut side pane.

According to official announcement, Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 comes with bootloader, refractor chroot.py, mount special dirs at the start of configure_system functions, calculate partition sizes using integer divisions, adds efi partition size when calculating root partition size and add gtk 3.16 compatibility.

Apart from these new features, Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 also fixes several bugfixes such as fixed grub-install call, fix some typos in slides, fix bootloader crash, fix double-installation attempt of bootloader, fix broken creation of /home folder for user, fix crash when detecting ssd, fix forward labeling issue, fix slide order in check and fix translation issues.
